I'm not thread jacking, so here's my questions:

I've got an 89 CRX HF with a d16a6 swap, but running the HF transmission. Sucks. I read the DX (with a d15b2 dpfi, right?) has the same ratios except final drive as the Si transmission. I'm down with the DX if that's true.

Now, are the DX and SI splines and hubs the same? meaning i'll have to grab those off the junked car as well as the transmission, because the HF axles are tiny and the hubs are different than most.

I'm open to any suggestions or ideas.

I believe you will need axles and also the steering knuckles, as they have a higher spline count.
