TPS calibration issue

hey I got a new tps from ebay. I checked and verified that my wires to it are correct. With the new tps installed I get 0.01volts closed wether it’s turns fully counter clockwise or fully turned clockwise. With it opened wot I get only 2.66v and 3.11v when it’s fully turned clockwise and counter clockwise while wot. What’s going on? From experience can someone tell me if I just got a tps for a dual point system? And or your thoughts thanks

pm6 ecu

i looked up the part number it’s 37825PAAA01
it looks to be the correct part number

Re: TPS calibration issue

I threw it on and started the car. It doesn’t bog down and idle low and rough anymore and it didn’t need a little gas to start either but I still have a code 7 popping up at the ecu

Re: TPS calibration issue

I’ve tried since another pm6 ecu and still got a code 7. I went to an electrical shop and they said it could be the ecu. I replied but the car as a whole runs and works. Can that single circuit for the tps in the ecu go bad? He said yes. That a single circuit in an ecu can go bad. What are y’alls thoughts on that. I’m thinking it’s a wiring problem. Instead of opening up my harness and looking for where there might be a short to ground. I’m thinking of just depinning the ecu and tps plug and adding three entirely new wires to that circuit what do y’all think?
