Re: SNOWWHITE V2 build thread
Thanks guys! Just finishes up the rest of the plumbing today. Had to fix the rear coolant hoses that went from the thermostat housing to the back of the manifold. Also had to fix a couple vacuum lines. Now just waiting to order more parts for my fuel set up and we should be good to go!

So this is how the car sits right now. She’s running driving great! I couldn’t be happier with it. I got some parts coming in that I’m excited about and hopefully I can start updating this thread again. So stay tuned. I know I’m not on here every day so bare with me.

Re: SNOWWHITE V2 build thread
Today I installed a torque mount to try and keep the pressure off the rear mount due to my subframe being for b series because of the rhd.

Subbed.
Jesus, how did it take me so long to come across this!
Immaculately clean engine bay and overall build. Much jelly.

Re: SNOWWHITE V2 build thread
Took her out to cruise 2 Cruz last weekend and had a blast. Had great feedback on her. It was probably the longest I have ever drove her about 100 miles round trip. I have found we have a little over heating issue. I believe it’s really just from heat soak and it’s been pretty hot here. I pulled the manifold off to go get it ceramic coated. Going to build a fan shroud and try to make an intake for the turbo.

I have the same radiator and also ran into some issues with long drives on hot days. Would see 200+ while on the highway. I had to open up some direct air flow to the radiator with the fmic blocking it. Ducting and venting in the bumper, switching to a puller fan, heat wrapping everything and adding a block off plate on the driver's side of the radiator to redirect all of the air through it. Now it stays in the 180's

Re: SNOWWHITE V2 build thread
I had to cut out the front bumper openings as much as possible, and used some sheet metal to direct air flow in from the far passenger side of the grille opening.
I also removed the upper radiator support, and cut a vent in the front of the hood directly in front if the radiator for extra flow. I have a couple of threads I can share if you want any more info or pics

Some pics would be awesome if you don’t mind!

Re: SNOWWHITE V2 build thread
thanks for the pictures! Looking over my car the other day my roommate noticed my license plate is cutting off a lot of air to the radiator. So I’m going to work on relocating that to the left side more and see what that does. I really want to keep from cutting into anything at the moment.

Just look for any way you can get direct air flow to the rad, or redirect air to it from around the intercooler. Using a scoop underneath the car can work. And definitely try the block off plate if moving your license plate doesn't work.
Also forgot to mention, I added 3/4" hood hinge spacers, and set my fan to come on at 192 with no speed limit. So even if it starts to get hot on the highway, it will turn on and actually help keep it from getting too hot. Having the hood vented and fan on helps to clear the hot air out of the bay and overall decreases heat soak.
