Skunk2 Alpha Radiator for 88-91 Civic/CRX/Wagovan
Skunk2 recently released an 88-91 Civic/CRX/Wagon full length Alpha Radiator. We got our hands on a couple and installed one in my buddies Civic Sedan. The radiator is pretty nice, it comes with a Skunk2 radiator cap, and has provisions for both OEM fans and everything! Since it is twice as thick as the factory unit it took a bit more coolant to fill it, which is expected... the OEM radiator would let the car get warm during trips up to California's high desert, with the Skunk2 Alpha Radiator there haven't been any issues what so ever. Very happy with the piece.
I'm sure most of you guys know how to install a radiator, so we won't go over that, but I'll share a few pics of it during the install...

Looks nice! Were there any issues at all? Fits the stock mounting just fine? What size are the inlet/outlet pipes?

do you have dimensions on that or a tech post showing the technical specs? it looks like it would fit a third generation accord without too much issue, the fans even look the same, i would have to change the bottom mounting points but thats easy, the only issue I see is mine has to fit under the radiator support, support comes off and the pins go through it, with minor metal work, I could modify it for the cap to come through the middle,

lostforawhile, it's in the car now. What dimensions do you need to know, maybe I can measure it for you. Also, if you called Skunk2 I'm sure they'd be willing to help you.

Sorry for reviving a dead thread but I wanted to warn people reading this since OP didnt mention anything about the cap/filler neck clearance. I just talked to skunk2 and they say you will have to cut the hood to get the cap to clear. Pretty lame the engineers couldnt even design it to clear the hood but they went to the trouble of making it compatible with oem fan shrouds. You would think guys who want to run stock shrouds would definitely not want to cut their damn hood lol.

True, but the half rad is the only reasonably priced option that fits a turbo EF without custom mounts that I am aware of. So I picked one up and the hood trimming was no big deal. Fits, looks, and performs great.
