Default Si harness needs explaining

So this is my harness. I just opened it up. Ive seen a picture that says. Injector 4 is top right of the 8 pin plug for the resistor box. 12 volts below it and to the left injectors 12then3. Correct me if im wrong. Blue is injector 2 brown4 red3 yellow1. I cut the brown blue and two yellow and blacks ones. The solid red and yellow wires from 3 and 1 were taped down under electrical tape. The ''12v'' wire at the resister box plug goes and splits and takes the place of injector wires 1 and 3? Why? I didn't do this. Si harness pm6 dpfitompfi

Don't ever go off the color of wire when its a harness someone else has messed with, it could be different colored wires soldered and extended, ask me how i know this.. With that being said, use a meter and just ohm it out, takes only a minute. Sounds and looks as if obd1 injectors were used. OBD1 injectors require no resistor box and a15 (12v resistor box wire you refer too) gets wired straight to all injectors.

From left to right i assume its injector 1234. Some write ups state that wires should be brown red blue yellow but they go from left to right yellow blue red brown on mine. Lol i just want to confirm with yall that with my harness the way it is with the colors that my yellow will go to A1 on the ecu blue to A3 red to A5 and brown to A7? and the yellow/black wire from the resistor box will go to A15 on the ecu. obd0 pm6 FYI. I learned after opening up this part of the harness that injector wires for 1 and 3 we're cut and left unused and the yellow/black12v wire from the resistor box 8 pin plug was/is split into two wires and took the place of the wires for 1 and 3 on the larger 14 pin plug.

#1 cylinder is going to be furthest right (closest to timing belt) and #4 being closest to the dizzy. You can run obd1 injectors on obd0 fyi and it appears that you have obd1 injector clips. Make sure you have peak hold injectors if you are using the resistor box. Saturated injectors do not need one and make for a cleaner engine bay with less and simpler wiring.

I just checked I have obd0 injectors installed. I have the obd1 set that came with the IM. I swapped them out thinking everything had to be the same. Not having the resistor box is a nice thought. I had planned to run the 8 wires from the injectors to the left and straight into the fire wall. where I would mount the resistor box somewhere near the ecu and a short wire from the box to A15 on the ecu like everyone knows. I'm using pm6.Should I stick with the box and obd0 injectors?

Most people mount the resistor box on the firewall or near it in engine bay. I would save yourself the headache and use the OBD1 injectors, they will work perfectly fine with your PM6

Just to be 100% if I use obd1 injectors four wires go to pins A1 35&7 on the ecu and the other four that go to the resistor box get made into one and go to pin A15 on my pm6? I read that the fitv goes to pin b2 on the pm6 the fitv is a two wire. which one of the wires should I put in the b2 place? or make both one and put that in the b2 spot?

You are correct on the injector wiring. Not sure about the FITV.
Edit: Blk/Yel should be ground and the other wire goes to B2

I'm still just trying to learn all I can the image above is pretty much what the person who had my harness tried to do or did. although my red and yellow wireds for A3 & A7 never made it to the ecu and instead we're taped down in the harness. not being used. The 12v yellow and back wire from the resistor box was split like that and was placed in the 14 pin plug on the driver side with the blue and brown wires for 1 & 3 like this.
I thought that 12v yellow and black goes to A15 on the ecu? like this
