short shifters...

Are there any short shifters that are just a marginally shorter throw? I have a 90 si hatch with a b18a1 and i wanna get rid of the tall-ass shifter in my car but i don't wanna sacrifice my syncros right now. And i don't really know how to do the cut and rethread...

take whatever length you want out of the top, below the threads and weld it backtogether.
if you wanna make your own short throw, take distance out of the top section, add some distance to the bottom.
thats all they are short top long bottom just changes where the fulcrom is.
think about it https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

I have a 94+ integra shifter in my car and it is perfect. It lowers the shifter downa bout 1.5 inches and has a cool bend in it. Im not sure if you want it backwards or the right way but it feels perfect. The shift is slightly shorter and it really does suit the car way better than the stock shifter. Any 94-00 integra ls or gsr shifter is the same. You can find one in the classifieds for probably 10 bucks. The only modification I had to do to make it fit was shave .25 inches of the bottom where it bolts to the linkage and use your old crx shifter pin. After that it fits like stock! I dont know anyone else that has this shifter in a crx but I can bet its exactly what your looking for. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
