Rota Slipstreams on CRX: what size?
I want to buy Rota Slipstreams for my CRX. I'm getting 15". Should I get 15x6.5 or 15x7?

What is the offset on them? 15x6.5 needs a 35 mm offset.
15x7 needs at least a 38 offset. You don't want them to stick out too much but not be dished in like stock wheels.
Also depends on tire size you want.
I use 195/50/15 on 15x7 +38
The 195/50 is lighter than the 205/50 and has a smaller stiffer sidewall. Yet the stretch of being on a 15x7 gives it basically the same width of the 205.
But if you want to run 205/50, then the 15x7 really is the only choice. As it will fit a 15x6.5, but it will baloon over the lip and look odd.
In this case, you need 15x7+41 offset though. You can get 195/50/15 latter and add a 3 mm spacer though.
Also depends on the weight of the wheels.
I recommend the 15x7. With 195 50 15 it will keep the car lower too.

Re: Rota Slipstreams on CRX: what size?
I've seen 15 x7 in +35 work, as do many +36's. Depends on the particular rim, but you can go lower than +38 and still not need spacers; I do agree that all else being equal, 7's make more sense than 6.5's, unless you're sold on a particular rim that isn't available in 7's (Mugen RNRs, for example). Good luck with the purchase.
