Well, there's really only 2 good ways to do it:
one is the legal way, which I outline in my how to on this (you should search more) its really expensive and complicated. not really possible unless your ungodly rich.
the second is semi legal, which is what Im doing, and registering it as a grey market vehicle. I thought this wasnt possible before (I swear I read it wasnt possible somewhere) but I checked with my BMV and they told me I'd only have to have a out of state inspection done on it.
you can do **** like VIN swaps (highly illegal) or claim it as a kit car or register it as a show car, but that kinda **** limits the miles you can put on it and what not (and they do check on that ****)

Re: (B16A CRX)
Kit car! That is how wonderful things come to be like the Noble M12 that don't pass any sort of safety or whatever regulations (psssh you don't need ABS, airbags, etc on a twin turbo 6 cylinder that does 0-60 in like 3.3 seconds)!!!!
Never seen a skyline in real life... Wow.

I'm unaware of the restraints regarding imports in the US, but up here in Canada all RHD imports are legal assuming that they are 15+ years old. BTW: I see a skyline nearly every day in the summer.

I could care less what you do to cars, trying to charge somebody for a service thats next to nothing is BS.
All you need to do to register these cars is paper work and at most if your BMV gives you ****, change out the bumper support and headlights/lenses. Thats it. I doubt anybody on here wants to pay you to go do minor paperwork for them, and change a bumper and headlights.
I did do my homework, and I know its not **** to register these things if you do it right,

They were using their permission to import R33's to import R32's and R34's, which is a no-no.
From WikiPedia:
"Only 1996-1998 R33 models have been demonstrated as capable of being modified to meet the federal motor vehicle safety standards. After that, only these 1996-1998 models are eligible for importation. In March of 2006, Motorex ceased all imports and Motorex principal Hiroaki "Hiro" Nanahoshi was arrested and held on $1 million bail on financial, kidnapping, and assault charges."

Re: registering imported car (B16A CRX)
Yea but the problem is getting the car into the states past EPA and customs, they will never let the car go. If someone knows how do that, post it up.
