Now that's some detective work.

Do you know of other vehicles that came with a valve stamped 3040?

However there is no need to drop the tank at all. I have done several brake conversions on CRX's and hatch's it is not something that needs to be done. All bolts, and cables can be removed easily without dropping the tank. </TD></TR></TABLE>

That what i was thinkin!...I was like thinkin too myself "dam, I didn't have to drop the gas tank" "how the hell did i mange that lol!'..Had me there for a minute..I did my conversion for the first time last month on my 90 si and it was pretty fun..Only thing i hated was laying underneath the car takin all the dam 12mm bolt's holdin the e-brake cables off cuz dirt kept fallin in my eyes until i got smart and put my safety goggles on lol.. other than that, Mr. Hydraulic jack is your best friend & helper when your doing it yourself..Bolting on the Rear trailing arms can be stubborn and kill's your arm's..

Parts needed :
90-91 crx si rear disks setup
90-93 integra E-Brake cables

Parts you can use if you wanted to make a lil better setup :
90-93 integra 40/40 prop valve
90-91 civic EX 4dr master cylinder
90-91 crx si steel braided brake lines

hope that helps .... but best way to check it out is to use the search button there is many forums with pics about this

would be really helpful if this was a little more clearer..(more indepth)
deleting the stuff about dropping the tank would help out alot. and how remove ebrake cable and put the new one on

I used the 4040 one on my car and it seems fine. Your rear will stick out more if you use the ones from a integra. I'm running 195/50 15's on my hatch and when I take hard turns or normal turns with people in the back it will rub on that plastic lip. I'm hesentant about removing the plastic right now. It looks 100% better then drums

gotta quick q, I converted my CRX to drums to have disk for my hatch and now the crx makes a hissing (vacume (sp?) leak) noise when I turn it off, coming from the BB. What the hell could be wrong? Maybe not tight enough?

Depends if you swapped out for a different style of rear lower control arms. There's the fork style shock and the bushing style shock. The ends of the fork attach on the outer ends of the LCA while the bushing style attach on the hollow inside of the block shaped LCA.

I believe the Integra Type R and the CRX may have the block style LCA which use the bushing style shocks? I'm sure that 5th gen Civics, Del Sols and 3rd gen Integras have the LCA using the fork style shocks.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use any arms from the Integra other than the trailing arm, or else you will have major wheel alignment problems. The trailing arm is the ONLY arm you can use from the Integra.
</TD></TR></TABLE>

is this something that connot be fixed by having a wheel alignment done?
