Ok guys so heres what i'm going to attempt to do. A while ago there was a guy that put together foam "repair" kits along with new cover sets. To be honest he was a very smart guy and picked up a big market. However on his previous thread i've seen alot of back and forth about he was awesome, then a dead spell, then good, then ghosted again. Well i've decided if there is enough interest around it I will step up and try to fill his spot. Having owned 4 CRX's I know the frustration of looking at that horrible seat bolster everytime you get into your car. However, I'm currently buying a house so will be moving next month. But, in Oct I will try to set something up for all of you. I have started this thread to gain a list or log of legitimate interest. I can't give an exact ballpark right now and of course it would depend on what exactly you wanted. So for right now just put a quick bump on if you would be interested in actually getting a good and quality repair setup.

I'd have to find a seat so I can do one for a "test sample" for you guys to see. But I will have to order materials and ect also. Would you guys rather see something with a stock apperance or more of a aftermarket look?

don't get discouraged by one bump in a couple days...you will get a TON of business. i would be interested in repair for 2 crx si seats. a durable cloth or vinyl that is similar to stock would be great.
if you could give some ballpark pricing, that would help too.

I prefer the stock look, maybe a slight change with the stitching color or something.

I'm sure people will come around when pics of the final product are posted. It's just hard to jump in sight unseen.

Alright guys, well once I get setup in my new house i'll be able to get you guys a sample seat and then gauge a ballpark figure. It will DEFINATELY be a affordable option.

I am deffinately interested, i would love a set of si seats for my hatch but all seem to have the bolster wear.

So just so I understand would we be shipping you our seat and then you fix it and ship back or you doing only local repairs just trying to understand but I am interested so let me know.

I only need one seat to make myself the original templates. I will most likely find that one close or locally. However, how it would work for your guys seats is you would let me know what style or personal preferences you have. Custom orders or i'll have some style pre-sewn. Once I finish the seat covers I would just send you guys the new covers along with instructions with pictures how to install them. Obviously if someone was simply not comfortable enough to feel they could install them correctly i'd give the option of shipping them to me. But, I can assure you I would make removal and installation instuctions that would be very simple and easy to follow.

Anybody know how much shipping a seat costs? My hatch is down right now so sending it out wouldn't be a big deal.

Any chance you could make replacement stock visor cloths too? Mine (and every single one in every junkyard for a 200 miles radius) seems to be destroyed.

Id be in man, just a black cloth would probably be the cheapest and easiest for you... I know thats what id be interested in... Ive given up on trying to find a good set of seats for mine, just threw a volcom shirt over it lol

Ok thanks for clarifying I'm sure most of us want this to happen so as most people stated keep us updated and we and go from there.

Cloth would absolutely be cheaper. Also, I can assure you guys that I wouldnt offer this if I didnt feel I could make you a set that you'd be extremely happy with. As for visors or hatch seats, once I get these sets established i'll see what I can do to accomidate other interests or concerns. Just give me about a month guys and i'll start on some good prototypes for you. I'll also do some looking around to find the best match for factory fabric and cloths as possible. I'm glad this picked up some interest, just like you guys I REALLY hate looking at those seats.
