Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
Bought some more parts I'll update accordingly with some photos. I've recently picked up a 2nd Tial 44mm MVR waste-gate (my manifold is twinscroll). I also picked up my Golden eagle 85mm b20/vtec kit. I went to go see my car this past week so I thought I would snap some shots which I'll post up. God I need to get some body work done on this thing!!!

Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
Some updates on my CRX project!!!! Things have been moving slow because my wife and I are looking for our first house, but I ordered up some new engine bearings for my block, I got the rest of what I needed for my Hush Performance Hydro Conversion Kit (Thanks Robert!!), and bought a Hasport rear engine bracket for CRX w/Hydro trans. Still waiting on a few other parts when they come in I'll post a pic of them. For now here are some photos!!

Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
For some reason my pictures are'nt working I think they may be too big i'll use photobucket today to re-size them and try to post them up. But anyways I've picked up some parts for the car nothing really big really.
Sir front bumper lights ( which were hard to find but I got it at a great deal)
Sir side skirts from Hmotors online
Hush performance Cable to Hydro kit.
Next i'm planning to buy a gasket kit for my B20 and a Cometic 85mm Headgasket, Then my engine bearings once my builder tells me which ones I'll need and a ATI harmonic balancer.

Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
My K Tuned 90mm Throttle body finally came!!! Now I need to know how to make my throttle cable work with this new setup.
Next plans are to have my wiring all sorted out, going with Rywire. Then I'll purchase the fuel system stuff. If all goes well I should be able to start piecing together my CRX within the next couple months. Here's some pics of the throttle body!

Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
Sorry that there hasn't been many updates lately, but I'll have some coming soon. I'm in the process of moving and I'll have a clearer garage at the new place. My CRX has been at my friends house (since he owns a lot of land) So it's been difficult to find time to work on it. As the next couple months come up I'll be working on it more and more, since I'll be bringing the CRX home. Stay tuned for more updates as time progresses.

Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
Okay, well I don't know if any of you own your own home. But man is there a **** ton to do, with little to no time for anything else. But most of my plans for the house have been completed successfully, with only a few more finishing touches. I haven't been working on the CRX since we moved in, but I'm getting around to it. I'm holding myself accountable to get the car running and drivable by my birthday in January 2017.
But there have been parts, parts, parts ordered and delivered.
Parts List:
Rywire Mil-spec Obd1 wiring w/ wiring for Coil On Plug conversion
Rywire Coil On Plug coil adapter plate for B series
T1- Cam Trigger kit
AEM - EMS Series 2
Rywire- Boost Solenoid kit
I'm trying to save up for my fuel stuff now. Meanwhile I'm trying to set aside time to work on my CRX. Hopefully I'll have updates soon enough.

Sweet. I've been slowly chipping away at my project as well.
It's hard when you want to upgrade your house and get your parts to complete your
car. I feel you bro. lol.

Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
Some new parts just came in, got the Injector Dynamics injectors. Bought Ultra Series LCAs, going to start working on the CRX after work tomorrow, it's been pretty cold lately. Trying to get up to just working on it consistently, been kinda lacking in motivation but I'm not giving up. I'm going to post up some pics.
Square ports rough cut
Bought another Sir CRX front bumper

More pics!
Removed old suspension, waiting to put in new parts soon.
There are new wheel bearings and ARP extended studs in these hubs but they've been sitting for about 7 years, are they still good?
Drivers side
stock shock, Ground control coil overs

Neither had I before either but Ryan labels pretty much everything which make this a plug and play affair. But should you need help he and his team are usually ready and willing to assist with install instructions. Good luck with your build!!

Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
Unfortunately I had a falling out with my builder and decided not to have him build my motor and I'm in the process of collecting all of my parts from him, Since pretty much everything is at the house I'll spend some time today after work taking some pics. Then I'll update my post and try to stay a bit more consistent with my post and build. So if you're reading this stay tuned and thanks for visiting my thread!

Just FYI: DO NOT put your jackstands under the pinch rail! Put them inboard on the main frame rail. These cars are getting too old for that...

Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
I agree with the previous comment, but mine seem to be holding up fine for now maybe next time I'll do as you suggested @solorex
Been a while since I've posted here but I've got to just get some of my thoughts down. I've made some minor progress with getting in more parts but have little progress getting work done on my car. I think I need to just get on it one part at a time. Game-plan is to get my car into "drivable" shape in the next 5-6 months. Things that still need to be done are:
Purchasing-New Valves, Valve Springs, Retainers, Keepers, LMA's, 1 cam gear to match my GE cam that came with my T1 cam trigger kit. 2 Bosch 044 fuel pumps, An fittings, Fuel lines, Fuel filters, Gas tank sump. K-tuned Shifter, Oem Shifter bolt washer set. New front and rear brakes, calipers, pads, rotors, New Parking-brake cable, new steel braided brake lines. New front an rear hubs and bearings, extended studs for rears.
I had bought some rear 90 CRX SI trailing arms so that I can have the rear disc conversion. They are in decent shape but I want to clean them up before installing them (since there is some rust on the arms themselves) and paint them with POR15 chassis paint. So I guess I can start taking them apart and cleaning them up or having them sand blasted by some shop. I'll try to post up some more pictures of the stuff I have since it'll help motivate me to get going on the car again. Thanks for reading.

Re: Project Burnt Rice Build Thread (finally!!!)
Nice crx build! Looks good. Ive been slowing working on mine also. Funny how fast time goes by from when you start a project. Look forward to seeing more pics of when you get everything painted and installed etc. I recently changed all ball joints and repainted everything before I put it all back together on my crx. Good luck with the build!
