Project Bianca - Trackable, Daily Driver Civic
Hi everyone! I'm Mark, from the Philippines. To be brutally honest, this is the first time I'm joining a forum, let alone making my own thread. Hopefully I can pick up useful tips from you guys!
Anyway, moving on to my car, Bianca is a 1991 White-on-Black 3 door Hatchback. She has a carburated 1.2L D12B1 engine, a 4-speed transmission, and a custom exhaust, but that's about it. One owner since new, and lovingly maintained by both the local dealer and the late owner. She's in the shop right now for a light restoration for Daily duties, but, like the title says, I want to turn her into an amateur trackday car. I don't really want to go for extra power at this stage, but a good suspension and brake setup is definitely a must. I'd really like to know what you guys think are good mod ideas and aftermarket brands I can get, because I need it to be good at handling, but durable enough to withstand daily driving. Thanks!

You can upgrade the front brakes to 10.3 and upgrade to rear discs from an integra. That should solve your brake problems. As for suspension it's all up to you. There are tons of options from one piece coils to your standard strut and spring. Depends on what you want a stiffer ride or smoother one. Or if you want the best of both works get shocks that have adjustable dampening.
