problem with hubcaps and lugnuts
Just got some fresh Azenis mounted on some 14" steelies that orginally came off a 93 civic si. Also just purchased some mint 91 civic si hubcaps to go with them.
The problem is that the hubcap doesn't seem to sit perfectly flush with the steelie. Then, when you tighten down the lugnuts (hupcap holding lugnuts), the hubcap flares way out on the edges. The hubcap looks like it is not even attached to the steelie.
Anyone have similar problems? Solution?

Re: problem with hubcaps and lugnuts (SiRex91)
I know when I rocked some steelies from a newer civic that the lug nuts on my car didn't hold the hub caps down b/c the nuts were too small, the newer nuts are a lil bigger to hold the covers on

Re: problem with hubcaps and lugnuts (red civic standard)
spray paint em black and sell the hubcaps and save up and get some rims man! ALL THE BEST TO YA but I dont understand. if your set on getting those hubcaps on I would go try some lug nuts off of someone elses honda you know that has hubcaps too and see if those work.

Re: problem with hubcaps and lugnuts (ghost_ryder35)
I have rims but have decided to run these rims to look more stock. Don't want to paint them black.
Maybe I need some EF steelies.
