Default PR3 w/Z6 question

Ok I just threw my PR3 on my Z6 to test it out. I orginally had 1 code for the V-tec so I wired that to V-AFC. Not getting any other codes?, providing its a Spoon Program which should keep all sensors including 2nd o2. I didn't even add for the oil pressure sensor on the silonoid or knock sensor. Is it my chip? or does it have to do with my ELD still being wired in and tricking the ECU thinking the Knock and oil pressure sensors are working. I never removed the wires from the ELD for the oil pressure switch or knock sensor. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. It is a ZIF format and I still have the PR3 stock rom may throw that in and see what happens also. TIA

Think I found the problem. I got a Mugen chip, which I didn't want because it disables everything except V-tec. Thanks hyperducktuning.com Good Grief

yeah thats what I've done. My Z6 I left OBD0 I was using a 88 LS ECU (PG7). Aparently I got a Mugen chip that disables all sensors, thats why I have no codes. Just added the wire for the V-tec out to my V-AFC. And away we go....

make sure to tell me how you like it, i've been running mine for a year now with the PR3 in my 89 Si with the Z6 with nothing but praise. I also used the Mugen Program to delete the 2nd O2 and knock sensor from Locashracing.com. I figure with a Zex cam it'll make up for the richness of the program and with the mugen program i'll be able to rev a little higher than with the PM6 that i was originally using with an RPM switch, that setup sucked.

I like it because it has the ignition timing setting that my 88 LS didn't have. I'm getting a LS/VTEC thats the reason I bought it. The only thing I hate is it will not idle when cold I'll use it for a while like this and try selling my other ECU (PG7) to pay for the LS/VTEC build. I've always had a V-AFC I love that, one of the best things I've bought. I was gonna run that PG7 on my ls-vtec and use the V-AFC but ran accross the ECU for a good deal. Gonna have to try the Mugen program on the LS/Vtec see how that works or may get another program later on. thank goodness for ZIF clips, just move a lever and pull rom out, then replace rom and push lever down and its done....
