I got a question.. Is that cover that you used, from you stock 90' Si? Because on my 89' CRX si the cover is square looking not rounded like the one you used. Was the a change from 89' to 90' on the covers, also you 90' gauge cover fit on my 89'? Let me know if you can help my. Peace

hey man. Its VTEC not VTECH!
From his site:

DOHC: stands for Dual over head cam ( 2 cams in the motors head) especially good for Vtech
So if I get a cordless phone, I should look into getting DOHC?

haahah ya I did that whole website so I could pass High school in like 2 days.So there are tons of mistakes like that.I really dont give a shit if I spelled something wrong. I know what it is and how everything works. But the people that I presented to had no clue! So how about you stop being a jackass and do something better with your day. THANKS! http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/mad.gif Oh and people that have nothing better to do during the day but to search through websites and find mistakes and then come onto forums and post it under a tech post.Should be banned or limited to the member corners where stupid comments are thrown around and people make fun of others who mispell vtec by saying "Vtech". oh ya keep your comments to your self next time.Because you probably dont even know how to make a website or figure out the knowledge it takes to do html or produce code. So how about you lick my nuts!

** cable to VSS conversion***

JDM 90-91 XSi uses cable........ http://rely.net/~htimages/smile/emthup.gif
http://www.camsauto.com/images/TEG_JDM_cluster_full.jpg
JDM 94 ish
http://www.camsauto.com/S_parts_001.jpg

I tried popping in the cluster but the stock 90-91 hood cuts off the left and right outer edges..... to you trim the hood ?

I took a old cluster, 88-91 dx, si doesn't matter.....
Removed the speedo head assembly
took the speedo apart and on the rear where the cable attaches is the VSS on 88-91 Civic, CRX's
connected 2 wires and plugged it on to my speedo cable and away you go.....

Re: ** cable to VSS conversion*** (Camshaft)

w0w this topic is back now... you need to use a electronic vss... makes like 29892038% easier... just pull the cable one out of your tranny and pop in the electric one.. and run 3 wires... as for the cluster... you need to take the stock hood mounts off the 2 side ones... and trim the mounting ears on the cluster till it fits snug... easy mod to do... took me about 30 mins to soldier everythign thing and have it in
