Oh Man! New ALT battery dies 911!
Ok from my last Problem the ALT was not putting out a charge got a new one, all the gauges work fine
but my battery witch is tested and fine holds a charge keeps dying and I have to find the Drain (what the Hell is draining my battery?)
1st question is do you need a Auto Ranging Multimeter? Or is a regular multimeter fine? (Digital of course)
2nd question how do you chase down what is draining the battery while the car is off? How do you fix/find it?
Please help!!!
Also so could it be so lame as a burnt out overhead light bulb?
Thank you CRX Fam!

1) With key off, measure voltage across the two battery posts.
2) With engine idling and all electrical accessories off, measure voltage across the two battery posts.
3) With engine idling, high beams on and cabin blower running at max speed, measure voltage across the two battery posts.
Post voltages 1, 2, and 3.

haha hay !! looks like you found your problem ^_-
looking at that acid its seen better days
so replace the battery and do a parasitic draw test
let me know how your testing goes
