I have my 0 gauge wiring, but I am worried about how to wire up the power wires up front in order to not have trouble in the really cold winters with a PC 680. Can I just connect it to the stock power wires up front and go to the trunk with the 0 gauge?

I used a power distribution block like this http://www.autotoys.com/x/product.php?productid=8633 located under the dash. From there I used 8 gauge to the fuse box and I think 4 or 6 gauge to the starter. You could probably do something cheaper though.

so this setup should be able to fire up in freezing weather? Did you use 0 gauge running to the trunk?

I can't say 100% if it will work for you since I imagine your winters are worse that ours, but I don't see why it wouldn't. The 1/0 is pretty much overkill for our cars so the extra distance should be pretty transparent to the electrical system since it can handle so much current. My girlfriend's saturn ion came stock with the battery in the trunk and I know that they didn't use 1/0 and her car started every morning last winter during the cold spell we had in Oregon. Just make sure your battery keeps a good charge and you shouldn't have any problems. And yeah I used 1/0, I figured I might as well go ***** out so I wouldn't have any problems later on if I decided to put in a system.
