Yes, a bad o2 will most usually make it run rich.

how do you know if the oxygen sensor is bad? i have a jdm b16a and it uses two o2 sensors.....when i drive it with both it makes a light hesitation...and when i run it with one or none....it runs koo......not throwin no codes....with the mugen chiped ecu it runs much better...

Well, on a normal ECU it throws a code, or runs rich enough to blow black smoke. On a chipped ECU, who knows. I don't know enough about the programming of a Honda ECU to know if the trouble codes are part of the hexidecimal EPROM image. I guess there's a chance they just happen to take the error codes out? But hesitation with both O2 sensors sounds kinda like an airflow issue with the sensors. Maybe Mugen programmed the chip to work with just one? I'd read up on the chip you bought.

I know my Spoon ecu runs rich and I just replaced my 02s with Bosch ones. Ends up I guess it was a mistake, I should have used Honda OEM. My car still hesitates and throws codes when it gets really hot on the road. I have checked my wires and also swapped the wires and the problem is still there. I will cave soon and get some Honds 02s.

I didn't know the car will smoke if it runs to rich...?it hesitates when i ran with the stock ecu....and both 02's hooked up...with 1 o2 sensor disconnected with the stock ecu ... it stops hesitating...

is there different kind of o2 sensors? i wanna replace both of the 02's
