No hot start condition?
Hey guys I have a problem starting my 91 DX with a D15B2 after I've been driving for a lil bit and I shut it off and go to start it back up while it's still hot. It will just crank until the battery starts to die down then it will start. I'm also not sure that my battery should die down that quick either any idea?

Re: No hot start condition?
mine used to do this i pulled out the main relay and resoldered the points on the inside
or you can go to vatozone and buy a new one |
Re: No hot start condition?
i would agree. Mine used to do that too. I think those main relays are pretty expensive for what they are. I re soldered mine. No problems since.

Re: No hot start condition?
Thanks for the help guys how much does a main relay cost

Re: No hot start condition?
about 45-55 bucks new or cheaper from a junk yard... the only thing about getting one from a JY is it could be in worse shape or equal shape to yours due to being the same age

Re: No hot start condition?
The circuit board is not tedious at all, its pretty spacious.
Here is a picture of the board, and even points ou the joints that are most likely to have cracked: http://www.diymyhonda.com/civic/wp-c...2931b67082.jpg |
