Default Need help, timing sohc zc

Ok, let me give you a run down of everything Ive dont to the car today. This is a 91 crx si with a sohc non-vtec zc engine. The car was idling rough while warming up, and once warm, would bog anytime I pressed the gas. It would take real encouragement to get the engine speed up, but once the engine got over about 2k rpm, I could keep it there without any probs. Timing issue. So I decide I need to reset my timing.
Problem 1: On the crank pully, there are no colored marks to indicate TDC. Normally, there would be 3 colored marks followed by one white mark. Well, on my pully, there are 3 non colored marks followed by 2 more non colored marks. So I figured that the 2 marks are TDC, and thats what I used.
Problem 2: Now when I crank the car, it will idle for about 20 seconds and then die. No input from the gas pedal makes a difference in the way it runs. I could smell gas so I figured maybe I am 180* off time. So I loosened the t-belt and adjusted and now its the same problem.
Does any one have any ideas or been in a certain situation. Im convinced its something simple that Im overlooking. No CELs either. Im out of ideas here guys. TIA

This is ******* frustrating, no CELs, but now the car will barely run at all. New dist. cap and rotor, as well as ignitor. Any ideas?

Ok.. so your question is about timing sohc zc??
So far the most ZC are Single Overhead non-vtec.
Some require alot of internal JDM computer and diagnostics to run VTEC.
If you can't locate or indicate the markings.. try guessing. There are certian other rounds which will help eliminate the things to get you in the right order.
Just don't keep smelling fuel.
If you eventually locate markings.. Some could be falsified makings from interchangeability. Looks like you have done some research on understanding the location of TDC.
Unfortunately there are no markings. Don't go to far to compare different TDC. I'd mark along the way.
Looks like you are just experimenting with the crankshaft. Looks like you are doing a full rebuild???
Good Luck with re-positioning after you have sleeved.
Should be safe to start.. Just compression will alternate until.
The only reason for the markings is to understand the beginning and memorization of two processes. Into becoming something similar w/o repetition.
You will carry this knowledge up to a certain level.
GOOOOOOOOOD LUCKY

It times the same as a D16A6. The cam gear has to be lined up at the offset marking, then slide the belt on, turn the engine counter clock wise to get tension on the belt, then tighten the tensioner bolt. Very close to that but ive had both motors. Just dont have my manual in front of me.
