Need help on Dpfi-Mpfi for 91 DX
So I found my dpfi manifold to be really limited and restrictive and really want to swap it out for an mpfi however I do have a few questions and concerns
1.Will any d-series mpfi manifold be o.k?
2.Does the resistor box have to be from an Si?
3.Can I get away with using the PM5 ECU
btw it's a 1991 Civic DX D15B2 w/d16a6 head and cam, thanks for help and tips in advance

1. yes im pretty sure any D manifold will work. (not 01-05 D17)
2. no. any resistor box will work. or you can run OBD1 injectors eliminating this.
3. no. use if obd0, PM6 if M/T or PS9 if A/T or convert to OBD1 (will need heated O2 also)
dont forget you need to get a MPFI Distributor

1) There is a Y8 version that doesn't have the EACV drilled out but it can be modified to work. Other than that, any 88-00 MPFI manifold should work.
2) I believe 90-91 Integra should work. Older Accords/Preludes have the same style injectors but not sure if the resistor box is direct swap.
3) PG7 ECU (pre OBD) would work reasonably well too but not the best for smog (I've passed with one but barely).
