my rpms are stuck at 2k rpm HELP ASAP!!!!!

so i was driving one day and my ef decides to rev up to 2k rpm and stays their i let off clutch press gas a little to see if it will go down but nothing....why would it be doin this???

Throttle cable stuck? or a vacuum leak.
