i jsut bought a ef hatch nd its wierd every time i get into high rpms it smells like oil idk y it doesnt smoke or anything im thinkin i have 2 change the vc gasket but idk sometime is smells like gas 2 maybe i need new injector not to mention the check engine light comes on every once and a while ... what do you guys think it could be lmk if u need 2 know anythign else

how do you know it doesn't smoke?
have you driven behind it while its revving at high rpm?

if it smells like oil is burning, the engine is burning oil.

how low does your oil level get in between fillups?

thats what im thinkin but like theres no smoke that comes out when it does get in high rpms.. i just smells like smoke and gas ie been real worried i dont need my **** breaking down if my motor is burning oil why would it be burning oil?

andd my oil light flashes when i take a sharp turn RARELY though nd if it does flash its a real short flash idk **** freakin me out .. i feel like a efin nOOb i have been trying to figure whtthefuxup wit it

If you dont want your car breaking down, why are you driving it like a race car? You cant expect to dog on a stock car and expect it to last you.

Chances are, its burning oil, wether you see it smoking or not.

check your oil my does it if i hot rod it constantly

youre probably just burning oil. nothing too major. your stock block is notorious for burning oil.

and when your cel comes on, dont hesitate to check your ecu for a code. that can help too.

im not doggin the car out i just cant take it past 4 k or so i cant tell exactly what rpms cuz its the dx cluster but even on the highway if i go to fast u start to get a wiff of oil and gas
