Mugen steering boss, where?

Recently bought a Mugen steering wheel, but I'm having trouble finding a steering boss for it.

Tried with both a Momo 'n a Sparco so far, even the std. No luck. Tried gettin' one from Kingmotorsports.com but they say they're discontinued?
Makes no sense to me, that they would still make wheels but discontinue the bloody steering bosses required to fit one?

So, does anyone know where I can get a Mugen steering boss for a CRX?

Choose the whichever of the momo/sparco is closest... and either drill new holes and tap them yourself... or goto a machineshop and have them fix it up for you.

Most likely the cheapest way.

Yeah, I'll prob'ly end up doing that, Splitime.. I'm just so god damn tired of everything that I buy won't fit my god damn car, god damnit.

And as I mentioned, Mnhotrod2003, I've already spoken with Kingmotorsports. Just bought a set og Mugen pedals (5 bucks says they won't fit either!) from 'em 'n they said the Mugen steering boss was discontinued..

why wouldnt a momo boss work? theyre all pretty standard bolt spacing. if "JDM" is any different, then perhaps a Nardi adapter would work. but even those i think are the same as momo.

which interface is not working, the steering wheel bolt pattern or the steering column spline?

Try one for a JDM wheel.. I've had two JDM wheels and they were both different than Momo/Sparco.

OOH! I remember doing some searching when I had the problem and apparently SRR makes a spacer than fits a Momo hub and where it attaches to the steering wheel it has two different bolt patterns, one is momoish, and one fits the JDM wheels.

Thats how im using my Nardi wheel w/ a Sparco hub. Just get a SRR adapter they make it in two lengths also.

Oh, the Momo fits fine. I could attach the wheel perfectly on that one, but I can't attach the horn button.
It's slightly smaller than the thingymahwatchacallit that comes with the Momo boss..

But I'll try 'n get something machined, or look into that SRR adapter. Know where I can get one? Else I'll just google it later.

Thanks for the help!

Okey, so I spoke with Tony at JHPusa 'n he mentioned the following:

"The momo hub works. You need the piece that grounds the horn to the back
of the hub. Available on japanese cars. I'm not sure if your market has
that piece as well."

and:
"You could search places that import front clips. I found one for my car
off a front clip a friend received. Not many people know to use those
with the momo hubs. Or you could find a female connector and run an open
wire to the back of the hub."

So, does anyone know a site or a guy that I can bug for this handy little thing?

Sounds like he is talking about the "spring" clip that attaches for the horn... and rubs against the backside of the adapter.

You can pull it off any EF. Just yank off the steering wheel and its right there... brass and held on by one screw.
