Re: mugen (TorteX)
yup, I'd have to say that the kit on the prelude is poly... I saw it being backed out of the shop while my car was being worked on and the front bumper dragged on the ground slightly... it flexed, popped right back, and had the low-pitched scraping sound of poly vs. the higher pitched "crap it might break" sound that scraping fiberglass makes.

Re: mugen (mini-cRx)
is the real mugen front bumper fiberglass or polyurethane
the full front facia bumpers from mugen are made of fiberglass.
" mugen lips " are made of a high density " plastic " not polyurethane.
edit: As for the " Mugen Lude " they made a front lip for it which was plastic. If the had the full front bumper from mugen it would have been fiberglass.

Re: mugen (HondaCRX)
Actually to set a record straight. Mugen only started using "plastic" for all cars 99 and up. before that a foam posite material was used instead. for those who knew of my mugen rear wing for my CRX it was foam, not poly, not fiberglass.
i guess depends for what car. but for the crx? poly? NEVER !!!

Re: mugen (Mista Moose)
the wing on the back of the lude is the foam. rest of kit is all polly or something like it. its definatly NOT fiber. if you want i'll take a pic of all the missing paint from the front. if it was fiber the front end would not be on the car anymore. its a lip not a full bumper... could explain it... fiber sucks no matter what name is on it

Re: mugen (mini-cRx)
Last I read, Mugen uses FRP, fiber reinforced plastic for its bodykits. Its a strong yet lightweight composite, not the same as fiberglass or urethane plastic. harder to manufacture and therefore more expensive. wings and spoilers may be different.
yeah sure, if you just want the looks, mugen is quite expensive. they do perform, not just styling.

Re: mugen (chhuong)
well, right, fiberglass is a composite, so it FRP, urethane isnt, so therefore its more like fiberglass than urethane, but its neither, and better than both in weight and strength, and more costly, which is the point.
