Misfire problems??

1989 civic d16y8 swap, sputters like crazy between 2000-4000 rpm. Can’t seem to figure out why, any suggestions?

I have checked fuel pressure, spark and timing. It’s also a y8 swap with stock 1989 harness and ecu so it doesn’t have v-tech

Has the engine ever run well in the car?

CEL codes?

What specific ECU is commanding the OBD2 engine?
