main relay/wiring problems
 

Hello there again unfortunately I have to ask people who are wiser than I am about this situation with my main relay, it's not priming the fuel pump and it's not activating the fuel injectors I have three main relays all of them are good I've tested all of them . I've also taken the main relay out of the connector and activated the fuel pump by jumping wires 5 + 7 I think it was so I know the fuel pump works. I recently did a dpfi conversion to mpfi and I've also put a zc with VTEC engine in and I I'm running a p28 ECU I used a harness jumper to go from my old ECU to the new one. Now I know there's a lot of tests that I can do to establish what the problem is I just don't know the procedures if somebody could help me out I will forever be grateful

Do you know how to check for voltage? I did this yesterday see what yours is the empty areas didn’t have voltage.

with main relay removed and ignition in pos. II only plug in the connector that has power is #1 @11.39v

Wow that’s f ing amazing so I have a short to power?!
Or a bad ecu dang I’m going to start again by checking those numbers again. So in your case what circuits weren’t you getting power to?

im not gettin anything to my main relay besides power on the #1 yellow wire . no clue what the hell im doing .

NO START GANG. Do what I did and see how any many places you have power.

I finally got her running, I did the test that has been posted above this post and it led me to a Blown fuse(i swear i checked them lol) and I also traced every wire (only the wires that the ECU needed to start the engine like TPS, iacv, grounds) from ECU pins to plug on the engine harness using a long wire aligator clips on both ends and multimeter. also had to fix a couple wires that my 0bd0 -obd1 harness adapter had in the wrong position.. also found that Distributors and the sensors they contain do not like to operate properly while saturated in oil. So my distributor had to be rebuilt (again)... still trying to get this damm ELD CEL code 20 light to go away... anyone?

It may be worth first doing the electrical troubleshooting recommended or ELD code 20. The tests are relatively straightforward.
