JDM B16a1 obd0 knock sensor
Hi All,
I have a obd0 91 hatchback with a jam b16a1 engine.
Took off the Knock sensor to replace the o ring on the water pipe recently (stupid stupid design by the way)
And now the car is throwing CEL Code 23 after driving for a little bit. disappears when the car is off and come back on again after driving for a while.
I couldn't fit a torque wrench in the tight space when installing the knock sensor back, i just use a cheaper bar and got it as tight as i can. Can a loose knock sensor cause code 23?
In any case the sensor has a white connector, not the green connector that comes from research online. I'm thinking its a fake knock sensor or not the right one. Where can I find the right knock sensor (yes i don't mind paying brand new price)? Is all obd0 b series knock sensor interchangeable even between the usdm and jam engines?
