Re: j30 swap in old school hatch
I do recall seeing a red EF Civic hatch with a J-Series a while back, watched a video of the motor running & everything. It has been awhile though .. someone post up the link cause I suck at searching!

honda tuning had the full how-to swap instructions to put the motor in an eg...i think it was a matter of just moving one of the mounts and its a straigt drop in. i have no clue why you would wanna do it in an ef but hey...if you do it and its quick youll get respect. but it has to be quick...very quick...cuz ur gonna look stupid without a hood.

Re: j30 swap in old school hatch
k20.org has a forum for the j series swaps, alot of good info. The j series will fit in a ef chassis, but custom mounts will have to be made along with custom halfshafts. Not many ef's with the j series swap, but with a welder, and money, sky is the limit, good luck on the build.
