ive got a question.
my honda has not been wanting to start latley, lets say i go out there in the afternoon to start it to goto work it will crank fine but it wont start, so i try 2 to 3 times with nothing just cranking, so then i go unhook the resistor block then crank it to get the fuel out, then i plug it back in but before cranking it again i pull of my cai and i smack the distributor with a scewdriver( weak spark) then i crank it with the pedal all the way down, and it will start to surge like a chuging trying to start i keep cranking then it will start with a miss then clear rite out. idk what its doing i just want to no how to fix it. oh the setup is a mini-me 90 obd-0 mpfi.

Well you know about the weak spark so fix it. Might be all you need to do.
Sounds like you need to give your car a little TLC and put a new fuel filter, air filter, plugs, cap, and rotor.
With your resistor box???? Why? without it you are disabling your fuel injectors.
And last thing when you say clear up are you suggesting that a cylinder is not firing. Or are you thinking a flooded cylinder, might be a stuck fuel injector. Check your oil and smell it. Does it smell like gas? if it does...stuck injector.
If you take care of these little things one at a time they won't be as big of a problem next time.
