Initial hesitation on throttle, missing, and CEL
Fully built (minus sleeves) Z6 in a 90 DX, w/Rywire conversion harness.
This motor was swapped into the 90 DX from my 95 EX and it ran perfectly.
Finally got this thing started, and it runs. No CEL's when you key it on, start it up, give it a couple seconds and the CEL comes on. I dont think I've figured out how to pull the code b/c when I do it how Rywire suggested (via an on-off toggle switch) it comes up as a solid CEL. But like I said, when you key it on, no CEL's. I was pretty sure you only get solid CEL's for a bad .bin/ECU.
Also, another issue; after I let the car warm up (well, happens even when it's not warm), if I blurp the throttle, it cuts out for a second, then comes right back. It does that when driving too. If I blurp it, it cuts out, then back in, but if I roll on the throttle, it works great. Thought it might be the pump (since I have an SX high flow filter, stainless lines, and 880cc injectors), so I got a Walbro 255, and put that in, and it's still doing this.
Any ideas? The only thing I could be thinking is ignition cutting out somehow (wiring maybe?) or fuel, but it doesnt seem like fuel since it completely cuts out for a second, then back on. Anyone else have this problem?
