Default ignition timing/dizzy replacement help

im replacing my dizzy on my obd0 d15b1. I took it off, put the new one on and think I moved the timing while twisting it in. (ya, probally shouldnt have twisted it)

so my options are?

take dizzy off, set TDC & retry

bolt it on, and adjust timing to the dizzy? if so whats required, just moving the dizzy until my timing gun reads 0? or should it be 16?

thanks for the help guys
