Yea, thanks guys. Screw these thieves and their mothers! It was stolen out in front of my Hollywood pad. I guess the apt complex across the street captured 5 masked dudes, push starting it down the street. The one freaking time I forgot to use my quick release steering wheel and lock.

If you spent tens of thousands of dollars on your car and didnt invest in a high quality alarm then i kinda think this is your fault. You know where you live and the amount of cars that are stolen there. You could have spent 750 for an alarm that works with smart phones and has motion sensors.

Thanks man.
I did spend a lot of money on this, not all at once, it was like an 8 year build! It took me forever. Then I headed off to college and the whole honda building scene seemed to have died down because it was either cops and thieves you had to worry about. Now, I am out of college, paying off student loans and ****, I totally had to put my hatchback as the last thing on my list.
If I wasn't broke, I definitely could have invested some money into an alarm. It still doesn't justify someone taking something that isn't theirs. There was just way too much attention to detail for me to just brush this off. I hate the feeling of disrespect and yea the parts are all worth a ton of money, but the chassis is way too nice to be just discarded somewhere.

I always wanted to see this thing done bro, I had been following your thread when you were still active on these forums. I think at one point I was trying to see if I could finish mine before yours but I never did (almost the same theme as your hatch too).

Really? I appreciate that. Yea, I was all in when I started building any of my cars when I was younger, no matter how rare the parts were or how much they were I would borrow and save just get the real deal sh#t. Then I realized that I could have bought a BMW with all the parts and labor I put into that hatch. So I kind of laid off since it was basically done except for a B-series motor. All I can say now, is don't get complacent when it comes to security of your car. There's nothing like that feeling of desperation.

I know your pain, my car was stolen this year. It wasn't a crazy build, but it was my build. I was more mad that they stole my work than my car. I didn't have any security other than the fact that it didn't run, I think they towed it. Luckily, it was found relatively intact.
For those talking about security, you need to get it in your mind that ANY security will merely slow down a determined thief. No matter what you do, they can take it if they really want it.

if planning to put hundreds if not THOUSANDS into your Honda/Acura, an alarm or some type of high end security should be the FIRST thing on your list of goodies.

And still no word on the car. Toot it and boot it.
Anyways, I picked up a 91 Civic Sedan down the street from my house from some old timer. It has 320,xxx miles on it! Original motor too. He wanted 1000 bucks for it. The car is in OE condition, real clean inside and out (not one dent, which is amazing) and no dumb f#cks have tried to splice wires together using only electrical tape, so its a come up. I told him I'll give me a G if it passed smog, supposedly the guy replaced the head gasket prior. The sedan ended up failing smog and needs a new cat. So I told the guy that it was going to be a lot of work to get it to pass and offered $500. Delightfully, he took it! I looked online and found a D16Z6 w/ 100 k on it for $500. So new car, new motor and VTEC for a lil over $1000.
So now I got the whip on jack stands and its going under the knife. I am looking for a P28 ECU, Resistor box for DPFI to MPFI conversion and RyWire obd0 to obd1 conversion harness. Maybe someone here might have something, if so, PM me what you have and what you want.
Thanks for chimes fellas.
