Not available at HondaPartsNow. Not available at Majestic or any other place Ive checked online. I need this part NEW or very good condition, without a ton of wear on the tabs, which is the shape mine is in now.

Why not ? It's super rare, in demand, and nice to have if you are an EF enthusiast.

I'm pretty sure I've grasped the concept of collecting in my 25 years of existence. I happen to collect vintage bicycle parts, but I usually build bicycles with them. Different strokes for different folks.

I don't have any discontinued parts to contribute to the thread, I'll retreat back to the sidelines now.

just curious how much would something cost of that nature if it hit the market? for op would you have some rear mudflaps for a 91 since you mentioned you had other stuff laying around...

I had a few sets of 90-91 hb SH0 mudflaps that I sold on ebay. As far as new rare parts value, I personally purchase my black armrest off ebay for $860 from Germany

Wow, i have been driving Honda's for 23 years now and love them, especially EF's but damn, that's crazy A waste i'd even say. You paid more for that armrest than i have paid for "any" and i mean any cool and rare parts i have ever bought for my crx......i would say even double as much as i have paid for any part i have collected, and i, have collected a lot!!!!

I'm a collector of old parts, but I use them. I have some new stuff that is waiting to be put on.

As stated, to each their own. I, for one, don't understand collection of parts. Take up too much room. But you're right, it's the same concept as collecting comic books and such. May your house never catch fire.

Hello do you still have access to the fog lights accord 9293

I managed to pick up the discontinued, BNIB, last in the US TYPE K (Classy Gray/Dark Gray) ashtray/lighter console for the '96-'00 Civic. Installed it in my Civic as well, but definitely not used. I don't even put things in the ashtray. lol

Then I managed to get one of the last (if not the '98 Civic coupe front lip BNIB (green), purchased by a guy on eBay after he http://www.livingsocial.com/cities/4...painting-class it from Honda. Still unused and in the box when I got it.

I got the matching rear lip (red) a year or so later BNIB straight from Honda. I was lucky to find one.

And then just recently I found a BNIB front half mask for an '88-'91 Prelude. It's still in the box, sitting in the garage until I repaint the Prelude.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a few more discontinued BNIB items I've picked up, but those parts stand out.[/QUOTE]

I deffinetly hate the ef chassis sometimes lol Im looking for ef9 bumper lights for months now with no luck, most are either broken/scratched or ridiculous price. I see my friends build EKs with quality oem EK9 parts and other rare goodies it frustrates me. But I am an EF guy all the way so I guess if I got to drive it with no passenger blinker then so be it lol.
