THREESOME!!!

Until today I only used my Ebrake when parked incase it popped out of gear.

Well today it was raining and I was in a parking lot with my friend and I yanked the ebrake so it would scare the **** out of him and throw him into the harnesses, well needless to say, it barely slowed down

I tried a few more times on the road and fully pulled up 10+ clicks it was slowing me down with the power of light breaking..

Im sure I could look it up in the helms, but ****, Im to lazy lol

Default e brake

heres what i did to tighten a few months ago:
1. behind the brake lever, there is a rectangle plastic piece that can be popped off. remove it.
2. jack car up.
3. youll see a little adjusting nut attached to a cable. it's very obvious what tightens
4. pull lever like 6 clicks then tighten the cable by twisting the nut. make sure that it isn't so tight so when its not ebraked, the wheel will spin freely without dragging.
hope this helps. if not, look through your factory honda manual. if you dont have one, buy one. its money well-spent, trust me.

so that you could spin the wheel to test the tightness of the cable. it was easier to make adjustments with the car jacked; just a matter of reaching back and trying to spin the wheel rather than driving the car around trying to get a feel of how the e brake was.

Hold the phone kids!

Make sure you have the rear drums properly adjusted BEFORE you do this.

I was lazy, and did ONLY this the 1st time, and you can screw yourself over if you need to further adjust it. I had my screw as far as it could go, so there was no way to further adjust it.

If you slide a flathead into that access hole on the back wheels, you can ratchet the Drum brake self-adjuster so the brake will engage sooner.

After you properly adjust this, THEN do the one at the console.
