Default obd1 D15b2?

ok i am in the process of doing a mini me on my MPFI D15. using a Z6 head and p28 ecu. i wired up the o2 sensor already and repinned the distributor to connect to my harness. so basically right now i have a D15 running on a p28 ecu with a obd1 dist and a 4 wire o2. i am getting a code 22 for a vtec oil pressure sensor because i dont have one on my stock head. when i crank it it almost starts but it seems like the timing is off. what i want to know is, is it possible at all to get the car to start with this setup? or should i just put on my old dist and run obd0 till i get the head on. Also if i get this problem now why wouldnt i get it when i have the vtec head on. does the vtec oil pressure sensor keep the car from starting?

Just put the head on, it doesn't take all that long. Once you get that Oil pressure sender attached, at least the code will go away, and at the time of the head install you can readjust the cam timing...

good luck,

Jung
