the vacuum line from the throttle body to the MAP sensor is not connected - i can see it in the video - you probably also have a Check Engine Light with a code 5 - connect the vacuum line and reset the ECU

now that you mention it, i can't really see if it has a MAP or not - i was just going by the vacuum port on the throttle body which should have a line going to the MAP, but has no line - looks like it is missing several things that were in the black control box on the firewall

removing it is ok but usually you only do that if you have a map sensor on the TB (like i do) which you then can plug in. Op get us some pics of your engine bay so we can see whats missing and help you out. it sounds like you have a vacuum leak (or a few) going on as well which would cause the bogging too.

ok nm i do see the map sensor (the last second before he shut the vid off) it looks plugged in and i saw a few vac lines running to it as well.

the motor is a d15b6 you said? so thats an obd1 motor i believe. did you convert your car to obd1 or did you leave it obd0? we need more details to help you out. it looks like you used a d16a6 intake manifold if im correct?

no the thing all the way to your left (where the harness join up) looks like the map sensor right there.

get some pics that'll help for the visual aspect of things.

the D15B6 is the stock 8-valve HF engine - looks to me like it has the HF intake manifold - the HF uses a EGR Valve and a couple of the controls for the EGR are in the black control box on the firewall

ok you need to use that diagram he posted and check to make sure all your vac lines are hooked up right to the box. it looks like the manifold ones are all correct.

no check engine lights right?

We hooked up all of the vacuum lines like thi diagram shows and now the car will not even idle. starts slighty, but then dyes out.

we did triple checked the diagram.

we had the lines how they where before, just because we had a friend with us that supposedly kknew all about crx's

yo mayne, Our dizzy came into day!! good thing we took those picks cuz now we can hook it up how it was before, throw the new dizzy on and be good to go. (hopefully)

that was bullshit that we hooked up the vaccum lines like that diagram says and it didn't even idle for 2 seconds
we need to check the pics, put it back to how we had it, try again...
then if it doesnt work we need to look at that fuel filter.
'
eventhough i dont understand how a fuel filter is going to effect it under the slightest SLIGHTEST bit of "load?" opening the throttle body the slighted bit isn't really putting load on the engine.

idk but we need to get it out of there ASAP.

CAN ANYONE HELP USE ANY MORE SO!?!/! like i said we triple checked the vaccum lines to make sure it matched the diagram. It didn't even run after that...
sorry we didn't post pics of the vaccum lines hooked up correctly? (or as that diagram said) but you can take our word that we had at least idling with the previous vaccum line set up.

thanks for your help guys
