Default trying to find this out before i do it? dash swap

i know the crx dash will swap into my hatch back but im trying to find out about the dash cluster wires and plugs. my car is a 89 hatch si the dash ive got out of a si crx is from a 90 or 91, i know what pin what wires r and there color for the 90 91 crx dash but i cant find anything out about the 89 dash will they pulg right in or what, cuz im building a more show car for someone any info will be great.

better yet r the wires the same colors and in the same pins as the 89 si cuz thats all i need to know is what is the pin order in the 89 civic si and what wire does what.

the gauge cluster wires are different

here is a link w some pinouts if u google 88-89 crx cluster it should give you some others.https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...t=cluster+swap. I did a gsr cluster swap and my searches turned up both sets of pinouts. Of course you could always use the same under dash harness as the year of the dash board and the correct cluster for that same dash. Good luck

well thats what i was going to do as long as the plugs that plugs to everthing else was the same cuz ill ive got is the cluster wires and what goes with it the fuse box and things will be coming from the 89 dash

It should be all the same under ther. U gotta pull it out anyway.just use the 89 cluster and dash together w/the 89 udh.

yea well i found the stuff i was looking for, but i will be pulling it out its ganna take a few weeks for my to finish what im doing im wiring everything up single gauges and wiring the light to a single wraning light like they r already, then just have to fiberglass it and clean it up and throw it in the car, ill post a pic after im done
