Default hood stuck shut!! help!!

how can i open my hood without popping it open frm the inside?

I cant open mine without jamming something under the lever and f'ing with the hood for atleast a minute.

I don't mind, keeps thieves out.

have someone pull the lever inside, then push down on the hood above where the latch is and it should pop open.

I have my own JDM way of opening my hood since my hood wont clear the timing belt cover.

I open the drivers door, and walk around to the other side of the door, so I am right near the front fender. Now, I reach in and get the latch with my hand while kicking the front of the hood with the side of my foot. Works every time. Try not to use your heel so as to not dent it.

hahahahah I do this all the time if I need to open my hood.

I had this problem w/ my rex, i fixed it by cleaning up that spring on the hood near the latch.

my hood wont freakin open

Was finicky for a while now today when I pull the lever it does nothing

What can I do? I dont have a second body here to help
