hmm?

You mean stock or people who raise the back of the hood?

Stock has no gaps, atleast it shouldn't.

Some folks do it to clear swapped engines and "vent" underhood temps.

Some clowns do it because it's M4d Tite JDM looking or something.

IMO its... http://is.rely.net/1-92-30002-l-J5Zy...RHu47Ah02g.gif

It might not draw out the air the way they think but I'm sure it works similarly to a cowl induction hood and aids in lowering temps somewhat.

Re: Honda Hood Gap (Eclifter)

certain swaps you have to do it, or design a fully custom hood.

i personally think it looks horrid, and would be worth the effort in customization to avoid it.

just an opinion, though.

also whenever this topic comes up theres always some guy who road races like on the equator and claims his prop drops his temps etc etc.

Thanks guys, I thought it had something to do with hood dampners. But I agree that if its for a swap get a sir hood or fab a hood. It just looks awkward. Thanks again https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
