u can make just about any b-series header work on an EF.

in terms of the normal every day headers people use (i.e. non exotic designs unlike bisimoto or hytech)

the 4-1's will generally require notching your front cross member, and deleting your front motor mount (if you are even using it on a b-series swap...).. they will also generally hang very low and love to get smashed. depending on your mounts it may also want to hit a full size rad.

the 4-2-1's will usually fit best.

the 1 piece sometimes can be a pain to get in and out with other stuff in the way (i.e. radiator).

2 piece is obviously going to be easier to deal with.

in an EF i am a fan of a ported stock CTR or v1.0 ITR header for street use ... the 4-2-1 one with the ~2.5" outlet.

and if you are just wondering about using a stock b series header that comes with your swap, it should be fine.
