Has anyone put an aftermarket steering wheel on a cruise control hub?
I know that the cruise control hub and standard hub are shaped differently, and I'm wondering if the hub adaptors for the aftermarket steering wheels still fit the cruise control hub.
Does anybody know?
I'm hoping to buy one, but I plan on keeping my cruise control by adapting (completely custom) the stock cruise control buttons to fit against the steering wheel good and look lik OEM.

By the 'hub'...I mean the plastic part that actually attaches to the steering column.
I don't know the exact terminology, but the cruise control one uses a swivel plate because of the 2 cruise control wires....and no brass/copper contact plate for the horn ground...it's part of the swivel plate wiring w/the cruise control.
I'll try to take some pics later of what I'm talking about.

This is the cruise control/horn swivel plate. It's not a regular contact plate like the other cars are.
There's also a different white section that fits underneath/inside of this, and I'm not sure if the standard hub adaptors accomodate it okay.
It doesn't stick out any further than the non CC hubs, but it's a completely different system and I've never had an aftermarket steering wheel so I'm merely curious.

This part is crucial when putting a CC wheel on to a non CC hub. That and the singal cancel cam.
I have an EX wheel in my SI. It's a nicer "feeling" wheel if you ask me. and one day I'll get around to wiring those crusie buttons to my radio volume control

I've got a MOMO wheel on my 4door EF. The 4door hub adapter is different from the non-cruise control hub. It allows the use of the cruise-control remote that came with the car (the one on the factory wteering wheel), however, some modifications will have to be made to "mount" the control on the hub. Hope this helps.

That definitely does help.
I will be custom molding the cruise control 'remote' to fit on whatever steering wheel I get. That's not a problem....at all.
Where did you find the actual hub adaptor? And do you have any pics of yours installed?
