ZC dyno & compression test results
hey guys
just finished my DOHC ZC into '91 Civic Si swap (it still doesn't idle right!); here are the numbers:
114hp at the wheels
compression:
#1 145 psi
#2 150 psi
#3 150 psi
#4 140 psi
the engine is stock except for a K&N intake and a Airmass header. I figured I would get about
120 - 125 hp at the wheels with this combo, but it would seem that this engine is pretty tired, so on
to the rebuild portion of the swap...which I should have done in the first place.

Re: ZC dyno & compression test results (gregv)
That is about right if you account for approx. a 14% drivetrain loss. The ZC came with 130 flywheel horsepower stock The intake and header don't really produce that much extra hp. Your compression numbers are pretty consistent.
