Fuel Pump not priming!!
Took a bare wire and touched the #5 with one end and #7(wire) with the other end of the bare wire and it sounded like the pump kicked right away!!
Hi guys, I have a 1989 civic dx hatch, the fuel pump fuel doesn’t not prime. I went and got a main relay from autozone but it still the fuel pump don’t seem to be getting any power at all. Any ideas?

Re: Fuel Pump not priming!!
So I checked the igniter, after running some test it appeared to be a bad igniter so I was gonna go to auto zone to get a new one but I decided to first check the ECU to see if it would give me the #15 code... but the light isn’t blinking at all.. does this mean is bad?

Re: Fuel Pump not priming!!
So now the car does start perfectly fine, but if I let it run for like 10mins and then floored the gas pedal it’ll start stalling. I checked the fuel pressure and it has none... but then the car starts just fine and if I let it idle it’ll be just fine.. what surprise me i me the fact the fuel pressure is 0. Bad fuel pump or maybe just bad fuel pressure regulator? Or vacuum line? 😕
