What mounts did you use? I used innovative cable ones and I didn't have to cut the front mount, but my headers to touch the front cross member.

Was the car ever in a front end collision?

Aftermarket crossmember with provisions for a B-series mount will correct this.

^^^

My b18c swap was hitting on the front crossmember really bad with hasport mounts. Wanted a traction bar anyways so I went for it. Innovative sells an aftermarket front corssmember (not traction bar) that will solve the problem like he said though. For the price though it's not worth it. Extra $100 gets you a traction bar

I grabbed an eBay special that attaches and replaces factory tow hitch locations. Not provision for front mount though. So far has been working great, and I don't get engine movement with the Hasports.

If I could weld, I would cut the front lower mount *bolt in spot*and move it over to align with the holes for the front mount. Even tho 3 solid mounts is good, wouldn't hurt to have a 4th.
