anybody ever try fixing there dimmer switch gone bad?? my cluster, and ac lights are inoperable because of this **** and it pisses me off. it seems like a very simple piece of circuitry.

just go to the junkyard and get yourself another one and plug it in.

i live in BFE (butt expletive egypt) and the closest junkyard to me was an hour away and only had 1 ef sedan that was in crappy condition!!! ive taken this little thing apart and it doesnt look that hard to fix but if anybody has any tips or has done this before please clue me in

probably try ebay or some online part store. I found alot of dimmer switches on there. Good luck.

I tried fixing one in an eg, the thing broke apart before I could get it apart.

I can usually take the switch out while it's still plugged in, squeeze on the outer housing and it will come back on.
