Default fan not working

my fan is not working. i bought a relay for it and it did not work. what else can i check for

You can see with a testlight or multimeter if the fan is recieving power from the factory wiring.

If not, There should be some fuses in the fusebox under the hood. check those.

You can test the fan motor itsself by running power and ground directly from the battery to the fan.

connect it to the battery and then to a ground of some sort and see if it goes on with a direct power source

i had this problem, just grab a toggle switch, use 2 sort of wires one from the toggle switch, to the power wire of the fan wire clip, and one straight to the battery

after replacing two switches and checking the fuse and fan motor, it still didn't work. must be some wirings. the car is too old to be doing the diagnosis so what i did is just connect it straight to ignition. now it works everytime i turn on ignition.

did you replace the fan switch on the back of the block? this is what usually goes out

I had to do the same with mine. Except I wired in a toggle.

which fan are you referring to? The AC condensor fan or the radiator fan?

if ur talkin about the AC fan then check fuse #18 Rear Defroster. my fan wouldnt come one then i noticed the fuse was blown so i replaced it and then i came on like nuthin.
