EF Build.
so far i have got my new d16z6 oil pump in a d15b2 block. I have a D16 water pump as well and a d16 aem cam gear. D16 107 teeth belt versus the 106 teeth belt. and i have d16z6 vtec blox performance valves in a d16a6 89 crx si head. I used my d16a6 springs and keepers. I also have a cold air ebay intake and ebay dual core da radiator with stock fan. relocated battery to trunk with 0awg wire and I kept dpfi with a thinner aluminum restrictor plate with a smaller fuel port hole. I'm running high compression pm7 pistons with 2 layer d16y8 gasket. anything i should be concerned bout?

Re: EF Build.
I bought this ef for 200 bucks with a blown head gasket b16 and an automatic transmission. I put atleast 1250 in parts getting it back running with a si pm6 obd0 ecu and a dpfi off a 90 crx dx and a d15b2 from a 90 civic dx hatch and a d16head off a delsol and my transmission is completely custom gearsets and a LSD. Just the lil setup i have in transmission and thrown together parts make my front transmission mount break everytime i try to spin tires. I burnt my water pump up and stretched my belt driving from florida to south carolina.

wait......... you did all that work to put a d15 with d16 internals back into a car that had a b16?
why didn't you just make it a manual and fix the head gasket? and if you're saying "what about my tranny?" d2b tranny.

Re: EF Build.
think you answered your own question.
if you are trying to say your car is awesome because it has so much power the tranny mount can't hold it; you would be wrong. it's breaking because something is causing it to break. i run stock mounts and put 270 hp to the wheels at 14 psi. i don't know if i need to mention, but here it goes... my mounts don't shatter.

Re: EF Build.
Your car is very close to being cool. With an MPFI swap and a couple other small mods, you could have a very fun car. i hope you do it.

Re: EF Build.
B2D, yea it would.
even stating that. you could have went and got a DA b18, and dropped the b16 head on it and got a lsv. for the about the same price, with more power.
you already had the most important and expensive part of a lsv
