Default d15b7 with y7 head in ef ran dpfi confusion

ok so i am new here and could really use some help i have an 89 civic dx i am swapping a d15b7 with a y7 in head what im wondering if if i do this can i use my stock b2 dizzy and dpfi intake manifold and run it obdo? what would i have to do.y stock engine just went out and this is the cheapest thing i i ve access to i appreciate any help

If I’m not mistaken, as long as you use your all of your DPFI B2 parts (dizzy, manifold, & ecu) on the Y7 head it shouldn’t be an issue staying OBD0, however the D15B7 Block being OBD1 has the fan switch on the thermostat housing. Not sure about plug difference behind the block.

I think that would work. They say the use the y7 cam gear when converting to pmfi. So if you stay dpfi on the y7 head I would use the D15B2 cam gear. Good luck
