Default Sunroof drain tubes - 1991 EF hatch

So, I know the drain tubes run from the corners of the sunroof pan to drains, but where do the front drain tubes dump to? The previous owner of my civic routed both front and rear tubes to the back of the car and out, but the front tube has kinked as it is rerouted in almost a full 180 degree bend. I want to put it back to the stock routing, and run it down the A pillar as intended. Can I just shove a tube down the hole and clamp it to the sunroof drain pan? Does it connect with anything further down the A pillar?

Here's a picture of how he rerouted it. I'm wondering if he didn't use the A pillar drain for some specific reason?

it should go down the a pillar and exit near where the electrical wires feed out to the doors but behind the fender.

If I feed the line down the A-pillar blindly, is there anything for it to get caught on? I would like to reroute it, but don't want to touch it until I can be sure. I popped the A-pillar plastic cover off of a CRX I have, but can't see into the pillar at all.

Use a speedo cable from a 70's era vette, the longest I could find. this will go down the pillar easily and be easier to pull the new tube in. I use scotch brand "33" tape, it is sticky and really thin.
Really
